Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading and innovative player in the chemical process, manufacturing industry in the recruitment of an Engineering and Maintenance Manager.With a commitment to excellence, our client is seeking an experienced Engineering and Maintenance Manager manage the overall engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of chemical manufacturing processes.
As Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of manufacturing operations.
This Engineering & Maintenance Manager Duties & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Lead and manage the engineering team, overseeing the design, implementation and optimisation of chemical manufacturing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement processes improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and efficiency enhancements
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure the reliability and availability of equipment and facilities
Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximise production efficiency
Build and lead a high-performing engineering and maintenance team, providing guidance and support for professional development
Foster a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement within the engineering and maintenance departments
Develop and manage budgets for engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring cost-effective utilisation of resources
Identify and prioritise capital expenditures for equipment upgrades and replacements
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols in all engineering and maintenance activities
Collaborate with regulatory affairs to address compliance issues and drive continuous improvement in regulatory compliance processes
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with people who have the following skills and demonstrable experience:
Bachelors or masters degree in either chemical / chemical engineering field
Proven experience in a leadership role within the chemical process manufacturing industry
Strong technical expertise in chemical engineering and process optimisation
Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performance engineering teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements
