Team Educate are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to work in a vibrant secondary school in Cardiff.
Are you a dedicated English Teacher with a desire to provide high quality learning for secondary school pupils? Do you have English teaching experience and are looking to develop your skills in a new challenging role? Are you newly qualified and looking for your first English Teacher role? Team Educate are seeking a reliable English Teacher with prior teaching experience in a similar role, a recently qualified teacher (ECT), or a recent PGCE graduate with the desire to teach English at secondary level. The role will involve working closely with students and delivering all aspects of the English curriculum to secondary age pupils, including planning, teaching, marking, and monitoring progress. Someone looking to get stuck into a long-term teaching role would benefit from being able to take the reins with this exciting opportunity.
The role will initially start on a temporary/supply basis but will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
The successful English Teacher will benefit from:

The successful English Teacher will require:
* A teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS).
* A proactive approach to teaching and learning.
* The ability to quickly build a strong rapport with students.
* A keen interest in supporting the development of students in English.
* Hold the right to work in the UK.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
* Be registered or be willing to register with the EWC.
