Water Hygiene EngineerAbout Our Client: A dynamic and rapidly growing company, as they embark on a significant phase of expansion. We are currently seeking a dedicated Water Hygiene Engineer to play a vital role in ensuring environmental and building legislative compliance. This field-based position involves daily travel to various sites, offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to a company at the forefront of its industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct water temperature monitoring, sampling, and hygiene monitoring of water systems.
* Perform cleaning and disinfection of Cold-Water Storage Tanks, showers, and domestic water services.
* Service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV) and inspect Calorifiers.
* Undertake remedial actions to water systems as necessary.
* Execute allocated service work within agreed time schedules, adhering to the companys health and safety and quality policies, as well as industry guidelines and customer specifications.
* Complete reports and paperwork as directed by your team leader.
* Be available for necessary works outside normal hours, with additional remuneration.
* Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS), maintaining accurate and current documentation.
* Undertake any other associated duties as requested.
Required Criteria:
* Full UK Driving License.
* Previous experience in TMV servicing.
* Up-to-date Legionella awareness training.
* Minimum of 1 year's previous experience in Legionella monitoring and sampling.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Strong interpersonal skills for direct customer interaction, representing the company in a professional manner.
Desired Criteria:
* Completion and interpretation of chemical service reports.
