Job summary
Blair West is working alongside an established business in Northumberland looking to add an Accounts Receivable Administrator to their growing finance team following an organisational restructure.Joining a large central team, the primary function of this role is to assist and maintain all aspects of credit control functions within the business to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved.
The opportunity:
* Daily bank and cash reconciliations.
* Production and maintenance of customer account block schedule.
* Production and maintenance of weekly overdue debt reports.
* Production of monthly period-end reports.
* Monthly and quarterly cash flow forecasting.
* Proactive chasing of all debtors, including documentation and legal notices.
* Maintenance and distribution of customer issue logs.
* Annual review of all active AR accounts.
* Weekly review of early warning system and processing of affected customer limits.
* Day-to-day management of junior apprentice.
* Other ad-hoc reports and duties.
You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
* Previous experience in another role essential (2+ years).
* Previous experience with direct reports preferential.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent MS Office skills.
