The Role:
As a committed Process Engineering Manager, you will be at the forefront of the Process Engineering department, with a focus on New Product Introduction (NPI). You'll be the driving force behind NPI processes and will actively support new product development through methodologies like PFMEA, DFM, and CAPP, ensuring that you meet and exceed targets.
* Collaboration is key, and you'll frequently work cross-functionally, liaising closely with the Design Engineering team, Quality Manager, and Operations Manager.
* Upgrade existing equipment and processes work with suppliers to determine changes.
* Leveraging your expertise in lean methodologies, you'll champion continuous improvement throughout our operations.
* Production Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering experience is a must.
* Lead the Process Engineering department with a focus on NPI.
* Support new product development through PFMEA, DFM, and CAPP.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies.
* Project Management skillset required as you will be leading and taking part in large projects.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (HND).
* Strong background in Production Engineering and Manufacturing.
* Proven leadership experience, managing a team of degree-educated engineers.
* Demonstrated expertise in NPI.
