The Head of Programmes is responsible for the co-ordination and execution of the interface between customers and the business production process.
The Head of Programmes will take ownership of the day-to-day management of the Programme Account Managers who manage engineering customers within Aerospace, Motorsport, F1 and Composites.
The Head of Programmes will:
* Lead and co-ordinate the Programme Account Managers, as they field customer enquiries, generate quotations, secure orders, gather technical information to facilitate Production, and maintain communication flow to the customer through each project
* Maintain project plans of on-going and future customer projects
* Through the daily operations and production meeting, update all departments on costs, progress, identifying risks and forecasts
* Liaise with the Operations Manager to ensure they are aware of current and prospective customer orders, consult on production-plan creation and changes to best manage delivery expectations
* Ensuring customers individual needs are met to the high standards expected
* Assign a Programme Account Manager who will work with internal departments to generate RFQs that are accurate, deliverable and meet business commercial objectives
* Strive for continuous improvement of speed and accuracy of RFQs
* Deliver regular updates on status of all the customer relationships, and support CCO in determining optimum strategies to strengthen existing relationships and order-flow, increase share of wallet with existing customers, and capture new business in line with company goals and objectives
The ideal Head of Programmes will have:
* Ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team with outstanding dedication to customer satisfaction
* Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and laminate manuals
* Competent experience in using a Production Control Software System
* Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify and execute business growth opportunities
* Outstanding organisational skills to oversee co-ordination of projects across multiple stakeholder groups.
This role would suit an experienced Account/ Sales Manager who has successfully built, scaled and led high-performing CRM / sales teams within manufacturing.
