Our defence client is currently hiring for Simulation Engineers who are looking for their next move, or a step up in their career.

Youll be employed in Stevenage, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis where possible, with flexible hours.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work within this role, you must be a British National and be able to obtain SC or DV clearance.
This role will require 4 days per week on site, on average.
Key Responsibilities Simulation Engineer

The Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) team spearheads comprehensive missile testing, employing sophisticated, real-time simulations enveloping actual missile hardware, enabling us to conduct 'indoor firings.'
As an HWIL Simulation Engineer, your role involves crafting the simulation, executing indoor firings, and analysing the missile's performance across all scenarios.
Adaptability to new engineering challenges and a capacity to abstract details for a profound understanding of the simulation and weapon system behaviours are key.
Qualifications & Requirements Simulation Engineer
Experienced in Software design
Real-time application software design
Familiarity with Linux operating systems
Proficiency in C/C++
Utilization of microcontrollers (e.g., Raspberry Pi)
System performance analysis
Interface debugging and system integration
Familiarity with Object-Oriented approaches (beneficial)
