Job Purpose
To ensure that all servicing, maintenance, repairs and rebuilding of equipment owned or managed by the Company is carried out in a safe, efficient and economical manner in full accordance with Company procedures.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career to an Offshore role.
Role and Responsibilities
Carry out inspection of equipment and evaluate level of maintenance, repair or rebuild work required.
Carry out all servicing, maintenance and repair work on Company or client owned equipment as required and instructed.
Prepare all equipment in readiness for relevant test procedures.
Ensure equipment is returned in good order and fit for purpose, minimising repair costs through good servicing and reducing the risk of occurring down time through equipment failure.
To complete all Company documentation promptly and accurately thereby creating a full auditable trail as required by the company management procedures and to maintain Company QHSE accreditation.
To always maintain a clean and safe working area
To ensure compliance with defined HSE policies and procedures and identify any areas for improvement.
To ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in accordance with Company health and safety policies.
Any other duties as required by the Company.Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in engineering/hydraulics environment.
Time served or appropriate engineering qualification.Skills
