Job summary
Lounge and Bar Manager, required for our client, a prestigious hotel located in the Basingstoke countryside area of Hampshire. Transport would be required for this role due to location if you live in the local area due to work rota / shifts, however if required live in is available with this role.A Lounge & Bar Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing all Food and Beverage operations in the Lounge, Bar & Terrace - a very busy focal point to the Hotel.
* Providing the highest quality of guest service with the aim at all times to exceed customer expectations, ensuring total guest satisfaction, maximizing repeat custom and maintaining quality standards.
* Maximising revenue, control of rotas, holidays and recruitment as required leading a well trained, motivated & successful team.
Lounge & Bar Manager Key Responsibilities:
* To provide the highest quality of guest service in relation to the Bar and Lounge Department with the aim to at all times exceed expectations and to maintain the hotel status, its accolades and in addition aiming to achieve a potential higher level.
* To be a pivotal and charismatic figurehead in the lounges carrying out the role of host along with other members of the senior management team.
* To manage the smooth and efficient organisation of the Bar and Lounge Department by ensuring all guests receive a prompt and efficient room, lounge and bar service which adheres to the hotel standard.
* To be an exceptional and professional ambassador for the hotel in all your business relationships at all times setting the highest standards of leadership, integrity and commitment.
* To perform occasional Duty Management shifts as required by the senior management ensuring that you are accessible and effectively providing a presence throughout the hotel interacting with guests, staff and suppliers.
Salary for the role of Lounge and Bar Manager, is given as COMPETITIVE (£basic annual salary, plus a share of the service charge payment ). Plus other company benefits. Transport would be required for this role due to location if you live in the local area due to work rota / shifts, however if required live in is available with this role.
