Job summary
DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing B2B business based in Greater Leeds. As the Finance Manager , you will be responsible for providing effective financial strategic direction to the business, whilst managing a cross-functional team.
This role is highly suited to a Qualified Accountant who has experience of working in a growing SME environment with the desire to be a true financial Business Partner.
This is a hands on role, whilst also being instrumental in the on going business strategy and direction.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Assist the Directors and shareholders in the design and implementation of longer term strategic and short-term business plans
* Business partnering closely with the MD and other senior stakeholders to ensure the group hits its strategic milestones
* Providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
* Ensure that the financial risks facing the business are well understood and effectively mitigated
* Automate processes removing the need for manual intervention across core finance functions
* Prepare monthly management accounts + full financial reports for both monthly and quarterly meetings
* Take responsibility for internal financial management including: Budgeting & forecasting, Cash flow, Compliance, Tax planning
* Managing the finances of our global offices (China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Portugal, Turkey)
* Driving up EBITDA to increase its value as an organisation
Hours: - 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri (can offer flexibility if needed)
Requirements
* Fully Qualified Accountant (CFA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) ideally - but will consider Part Qualified
* Ideally conversant with SAP by design ERP system.
* Strong experience of working in growth B2B environments
* Ability to work at all levels across multi disciplines.
* Excellent communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills
* Experienced in working in a business with an international presence
* Strong leadership and people development skills
* Ability to identify growth areas
* Advanced Excel skills
