My client is a rapidly growing service and maintenance solutions provider, specializing in critical environments. Who pride themselves on delivering exceptional service to their clients, which include Mechanical Contractors, Consultants, and FM end users. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our service and maintenance department, drive business development, and strengthen client relationships.
Job Overview:
The General Manager will oversee the service and maintenance department, small works, projects, and the technical department, with a strong connection to the finance department. The role involves developing and expanding relationships with Mechanical Contractors, Consultants, and FM end users to win orders and drive sales growth. The General Manager will play a crucial role in managing engineers, conducting meetings, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring the overall success of the maintenance department.
Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day management of Engineers / Supervisors
* Conduct and Oversee Engineers Meetings
* Assist with Scheduling Engineers
* Staff Appraisals and Development (Engineers)
* Assist with the Recruitment of New Engineers
* Customer Account Management
* Conduct Customer Meetings and Renew Maintenance Contracts
* Provide Technical Assistance to Internal and External Staff
* Technical Assistance to Customers
* Write and Issue Reports and Quotes
* Conduct Site Surveys and Assessments
* Business Development
* Assist with/Oversee Small Works
* Develop and Improve the Maintenance Department
* Maintain and Handle F-Gas Register, Administration, Quotations, and Service Delivery
* Assist with Writing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
* Undertake General Procedures in Line with Health and Safety
* Perform Any Other Tasks for the Good of the Business
Requirements:
* National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology (preferred)
* Proven Technical Knowledge of Refrigeration Systems, Air Conditioning Systems, Heat Pumps, Chillers, CRACs and TLC,
* Strong Understanding of Service and Maintenance
* Proven Track Record in FM Environment
* 3-5 Years of Managerial Experience
* Proficiency in Refrigeration Principles, Mechanics, and Controls
* Successful Experience in HVAC Sales and Account Management
