A new and exciting opportunity with a fantastic client has just hit the market within the financial services for a Design Researcher based in Edinburgh who is looking to continue their career in the world of Qualitive and Quantitative Research.Role: Design Researcher
Location: Edinburgh - 2 days per week on site required
Rate: £500.00- £575.00 per day
Duration: 6-month initial contract
Working together with other teams in the business, you'll get to grips with key business challenges and influence them on the research requirements. In a fast-paced business like ours you'll need to demonstrate the ability to handle several projects simultaneously, an adaptable approach to change and ensure that projects are delivered on budget and to schedule. Your next step will be to quickly identify the important messages and convey these verbally or in writing.
Skills and Experience include:
Deep qualitative and quantitative research expertise - understanding what is needed, crafting the brief, analysing, and interpreting results. Plus, a strong practical understanding of how to best apply a broad range of research techniques.
Can translate business requirements into well-conceived and useful insight - Translate business requirements into well-conceived and actionable insight.
Ability to identify the most important and relevant insights speedily and proactively from research and put these across clearly.
Understand business challenges and influence/ guide on relevant research requirements.
Ability to quickly translate business requirements into a coherent brief that balances cost, time, and robustness.
Strong project management capabilities, adaptable and able to deliver multiple projects at the same time.
Enjoys working in partnership with colleagues and suppliers to ensure delivery to specification, using budget efficiently and meeting timelines.
Experience managing to a research budget and finding efficient ways to deliver.
