Responsibilities of an Electrical Project Engineer:

* Design and engineer electrical distribution systems for various applications, including grid-scale installations and thermal energy projects.

* Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and economic analyses for energy generation and storage projects.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate systems into existing infrastructure.

* Perform system modeling, simulation, and optimisation to maximize performance and efficiency.

* Develop and implement control strategies for optimal energy management, safety, and reliability.

* Stay updated on the latest technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.

* Support project development activities, including site visits, data analysis, and technical report preparation.

* Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for project and operational teams.

* Collaborate with external stakeholders for successful project execution and industry relationship maintenance

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field.

* Proven experience in designing and implementing power generation solutions.

* Proficiency in system modeling and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, AutoCAD).

* Familiarity with energy management systems (EMS) and SCADA systems.

* Solid understanding of grid integration requirements, power system dynamics, and industry standards.

* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and practical skills.

* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.

* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to energy generation systems.

* Professional engineering certification or chartered engineer status.

* Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and associated components.

* Understanding of energy project financing and economic evaluation methodologies.
