Job summary

My client an E-commerce based company located in Speke, Liverpool are looking to add a Software Developer to their team.

Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for the development, design and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects.

Main Duties:

The range of duties of a Developer is wide and will be expected to include:

Work within a team on all phases of the software lifecycle including analysis, design to

*

deliver functionality, testing and support.

*

Deliver projects on time within a tight deadline.

*

Write clean, efficient code and debug software.

*

Collaborate with internal teams to design software architecture and write clean and scalable code, following coding standards.

*

Integrate software components and third-party programs.

*

Propose technical solutions and troubleshoot issues.

*

Support, maintain, debug, and upgrade existing software.

*

Use version control systems and development tools.

*

Participate in Agile methodologies and ensure software quality.

*

Provide adequate software support using ticketing systems.

*

Mentor Junior staff as required.

Role Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a software developer or application developer.

*

Familiarity with the .NET framework, and design/architectural patterns

*

Knowledge and understanding of Visual Studio IDE.

*

C#, VB.net, Java, JavaScript programming languages.

*

Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, GraphQL and other types of APIs.

*

Understanding of Unit Testing.

*

Strong Knowledge of GitHub.

*

Exceptional problem-solving skills.

*

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

*

Knowledge and understanding of SQL.

*

Prepared to learn new skills and develop experience.
