Teaching Assistant - MiddlesbroughDo you have experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching assistant or other experience working in childcare? Are you currently thinking about changing your current role and looking to progress your career?
We value the contribution of the support staff in schools and are looking to place the right people in schools where they will be valued and can push to become permanent in their positions, and develop themselves, alongside the students. Teaching Assistants and SEN Assistants are a key member of any school and Teaching Personnel look to place fantastic educators in the right schools for them.
About the role
Both full & part time positions available starting ASAP and in January 2024
Work on a 1:1 basis or small group basis with students who require additional support
Provide general classroom support
Located within Middlesbrough and surrounding areas with excellent public transport links to our partnership schools
The ideal candidate must
Be able to communicate effectively with other staff and students, monitoring developments and progress and bring an ambitious personality to the school environment
Be composed, with the ability to manage challenging behaviour and situations
Have transferable skills and a genuine interest in supporting young people with SEMH needs
Demonstrate a patient and understanding attitude towards all of the students needs and circumstances

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
