Plant Engineering Manager Electrical Bias - £60-64k + Quarterly Bonus Scheme (up to 13% of salary) + 10% Employer Pension Contribution + Private Medical = £70-80k packageSamuel Frank is recruiting for a Plant Engineering Manager with a strong background in Electrical engineering to a join a globally recognised manufacturing company with a large site in the Deeside / Chester area with responsibility covering all electrical engineering responsibilities on the plant.
Key aspects of the Plant Engineering Manager role include
* Provide first class level of engineering expertise and to maintain electrical equipment capability for the site, including responsibility for the shift based Automation Technicians, Electrical Maintenance Engineers and HV Engineering teams.
* Implement continuous improvement plans
* Plant Manager will lead and drive the safety performance of the team
* Identify and develop relationships with key external contract labour support services
* Successful Plant Engineering Manager will maintain and improve positive engineering influences on plant OEE utilising Root Cause Analysis tools and strategic maintenance processes
* Identify and implement design/development opportunities to improve plant reliability and availability / improve product quality
* Provide engineering support for the implementation of capital schemes
* Authorise, monitor and control expenditure on Goods and Services within the annual maintenance budget
* Facilitate and lead development of all elements of the Company Asset Management Framework
* Liaise with Site Development and Engineering as required to maintain team performance
* Identify and implement opportunities to improve cost effectiveness via effective downshift planning and execution
* Ensure personnel are properly trained and succession plans in place
