Job summary
Really exciting opportunity to work with an innovative manufacturer based in Sheffield.Are you experienced in Cost accounting and looking to expand your skillset? Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role is a great position for someone looking to grow their experience.
Your duties will include:-
-Establishing the costs of services or products
-Updating the costs of products and services based on the associated expenses.
-Analysing data and assessing rates of labour, and overheads to recommend policy amendments.
-Recommending changes to policies and procedures to improve the company's cash flow.
-Production of inventory valuations reports and analysis, explaining adverse inventory movements.
-Complete audit assessments / support external audit.
-Maintaining costings and valuations applied to inventory items
The successful candidate will be:-
-Part Qualified/Studying towards ACCA/QBE
-Experienced in a commercial environment and confident making contributions to business decisions.
-Highly developed analytic skills.
-Ability to communicate effectively when discussing business changes and improvements.
-Preferably studying towards CIMA qualification.
-Experienced within a manufacturing environment.
