We are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic 25 bedded elderly Care Home in Rochdale who are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to work on Day shifts to join their committed team. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals who can lead a team, solve problems, show good judgement and communicate with a wide range of people.Job Reference PK39859 (Senior Care Assistant)
* £12.00-12.20 per hour, paid breaks!
* Day shifts with flexible shift times: 6, 8 or 12 hours long
* 30 to 36 hours per week

As a Senior Care Assistant you will promote high standards of care by ensuring all team members are trained and supervised appropriately and you will communicate professionally and warmly with staff and residents alike.
The successful Senior Care Assistant candidate will be patient, caring and able to provide a quality service to residents within a care home environment whilst enabling them to lead an active and independent life. Ideally Senior Carer candidates will have NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or above and be medication trained.
The care home is easily commutable by road with ample onsite parking on offer and the care home is also only a short walk out of Rochdale town centre.
Senior Care Assistant Duties:
* Assist the other Senior Carers and Care Assistants with care delivery in the home
* Support all members of the care team to realise their potential
* Shift leading
* Develop own knowledge and practice relative to continuous service improvement
* Making a difference to each individual's life in everything you do.
Senior Care Assistant Requirements:
* Previous experience within a Residential Care Home or Nursing Home
* Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Senior Support Worker
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
* Medication trained
