We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer within our growing Engineering Team.
In a nutshell, you will be responsible for:
Inspecting, verifying, and auditing products, parts, and production processes to ensure quality and compliance.
What you are already great at:
Inspect incoming goods and materials
Asses using visual, dimensional, and functional performance requirements the acceptability of products.
To ensure the inspection and release of goods is performed promptly.
Ensure the Goods Receiving area complies with business 5S requirements.
Ensure all goods within the area are suitability identified with disposition.
Perform in-line/end-of-line auditing within Machine shop/Cartridge cell/Assembly/Packing.
To audit activities to ensure stated quality standards are met.
Ensure working standards are described correctly and report any deficiencies.
Perform measurement reports utilising the CMM
Programme CMM to measurement requirements
Run programmes for sample approval, goods in inspection and PPAPs.
Report any deviations on measurements to relevant department for investigation.
General Quality functions.
When required, assist the team in the PPAP process to ensure PPAPs are progressed in a timely manner.
Assist QA engineering team when required.
Assist with stock take for quality department where required.
Fulfil other duties as required.
Pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role.
Identify & report things that you can see need fixing.
Identify problems and find solutions.
For this role we would need you to demonstrate:
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
