Spinwell is recruiting for a Case Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CASE OFFICER
To support investigating officers within the Response Investigation Teams in gathering evidence and third-party material, and the preparation, development, and submission of prosecution files with regards to crimes relating to PIP1 investigations such as domestic abuse.
Demonstrate the force values at all time. All staff involved in carrying out functions in this role will do so in accordance with the principles of the Code of Ethics. The aim of the Code of Ethics is to support each member of the policing profession to deliver the highest professional standards in their service to the public.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CASE OFFICER
* Business administration qualification or equivalent NVQ Level 2 or experience in a similar role
* Full UK driving licence / ability to drive in UK either on UK licence or other nationality licences
* Previous experience of providing a high-quality administration service
* Previous experience of working with confidential/sensitive material
* Previous experience of using Microsoft Office packages, i.e. Word, Excel and competent in the use of IT packages
* Demonstrates lateral vision and a logical process for solving problems
* Communicates effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing avoiding jargon
* Able to demonstrate the values and behaviours outlined in the Force values.
* Demonstrates the ability to develop strong working relationships both inside Lincolnshire Police and within the wider community
* Able to demonstrate the values and behaviours outlined in the Force values.
* Demonstrates an understanding of data protection issues
