Type: Full-time/Part-time. This is for younger students from KS1- KS3.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
Position Overview:
As a SEN Tutor at 1st Staff, you will play a crucial role in providing individualized support and tailored learning experiences to students with special educational needs. You will work closely with a diverse group of young learners, creating an inclusive and engaging educational environment that promotes their academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
* Provide one-on-one instruction to address individual learning styles and challenges.
* Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.
* Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that promotes confidence and self-esteem.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
* Recognized teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
* Proven experience working with students with special educational needs.
* Strong understanding of various learning difficulties and strategies to address them.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience using assistive technologies.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to special educational needs.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
