Job summary
DescriptionOur client is a online retailer specialising in brake components. Due to increase sales over the last year they are expanding their team and are seeking an Office Manager.
As the Office Manager you will assist with the ongoing nature of the business and implement new procedures to help with the growth of the business including a more robust HR & H&S system
Responsibilities:-
* Health and safety
* Staff discipline / appraisal
* Liaising with accountants
* Stock control / Purchasing
* Customer account control
* Coverage of duties of other employees if necessary
* Communication with suppliers and customers using both email, telephone and other message systems
* Inputting data and creating reports via excel and other software
Requirements:-
* Previous management experience is essential
* Hands On approach
* Basic bookkeeping
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages especially Excel
* Excellent communication/customer service skills
* Knowledge of stock control would be an advantage but not essential
The prospective applicant will be expected to learn and be capable of performing duties related to all aspects of the business. Full training will be provided, and the Directors will be available to provide continued guidance.
Hours: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week
Salary: From £25,000 per annum. After 6 months this will be reviewed.
