About The Role
Morrison Energy Services is recruiting for a Site Manager for our Gas Transmission contract.
The Site manager will be responsible in providing all necessary coordination of personnel, contractors and site works in line with the programme deliverables as well as focusing on customer liaison, supervision, and technical support in the delivery of construction activities around the UK (Contract areas).
As a Site Manager your duties & responsibilities will include:

Ensure that projects are planned, managed and delivered to the highest standards of safety, compliance, customer excellence and to budget.
Support the project team through pre-construction and site mobilisation in all activities associated with the project site establishment. support Innovation techniques that drive efficiency, safety and cost reductions throughout the project life cycle.
Manage the entire working area within the site and control of resources assigned to complete the works, satisfying the requirements of the design, legislative (e.g. CDM), regulatory and the clients technical standards, policies and procedures.
Survey, organise, plan and liaise with internal and external stakeholders and contractors, ensuring effective communication and coordination is maintained at all times to enable efficient delivery of activities and projects.
Undertake or be working towards Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS)/ Temporary works co-ordinator (TWC) duties for temporary works.
Foster a culture of safety, creating a zero-harm environment.
Ensure operatives possess correct and current knowledge, qualifications and competencies to allow them to undertake the relevant work activities they are being employed to do and manage any competency gaps, this will be supporting the project team.
Participate in effective and appropriate planning to ensure optimum competent resource is available for the workload.
Carry out daily toolbox talks and risk assessments.
Integrate an inclusive culture and drive a one team approach throughout the project team
Raise delays and potential project change to the commercial team at the earliest opportunity to the commercial tam and project manager
Attend site meetings and contract performance reviews
Adopt best practice and deploy across the projectSkills & Knowledge Requirements:

Previous gas site manager experience is essential, preferability in project delivery or construction
Ability to lead on site and drive performance through target deliverables.
Working knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, safety and statutory regulations including CDM.
Experience in delivering works in a safe and compliant manner.
Competent to support front-line operational staff.
Excellent understanding and commitment delivering on customer satisfaction.
Ability to influence and control cost.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in operations relevant to SCO procedures (beneficial but not essential).
Understanding of Gas technical operations Whats in it for you?
