Our Client is seeking a Project Support Officer on an initial 2 Month contract with the possibility of an extension.Start Date: 13/11/2023 - 13/01/2024
Pay Rate: £14.42 Per Hour PAYE
Location: BS1 6AL
Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00
Job Purpose:
The Project Support Officer will support the delivery of the Combined Authority's infrastructure agenda at a time of great transformation in the region. This is a great opportunity to work across a variety of programmes in a dynamic and interesting organisation and support the delivery of our vision for clean, sustainable growth that benefits every resident.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will work on the Future Transport Zones Programme and wider Infrastructure Portfolio. The ideal candidate will have worked on projects, and have good analytical, organisational and administrative skills. As a minimum we are looking for good Excel skills, the ability to support financial tracking, and excellent at minute-taking with a proactive approach to providing a good service to the team.
In this role you will have a particular focus on the Combined Authority's infrastructure projects, communicating with stakeholders, communities, and partners. In this exciting and fast-paced role, you will be part of a small team providing vital support to our delivery programme.
Skills and Experience:
Project Support Experience e.g. PRINCE 2
Experience in programme/project Support
Experience in the support of employee relations in accordance with HR procedures
Experience working across relevant health and social care monitoring systems
Extensive experience managing/leading social care or health or housing contracts and developing and implementing commissioning plans
Experience in modelling and monitoring budgets/spending against activity and reporting.
