Job Description
Job Duties:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting. This includes assisting the teacher in implementing individual education plans, helping students with learning activities, and promoting their social and emotional development.
Required Qualifications:
Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
Education:
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
Patience and understanding towards students with SEN
Quick to learn
Able to use initiative
Working Conditions:
This role involves working on a part-time and ad-hoc basis. You will be based in a school environment, supporting students with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
