We are thrilled to be exclusively recruiting for an exciting new opportunity on behalf of our clients.For clarification this role is office based with the location being Stoke Prior business park Bromsgrove.
We are seeking a driven, ambitious and focussed sales professional who is really looking to push forward with their career within a highly sough after culture and industry.
The Sales Executive will be responsible specifically for generating new enquiries, developing them into confirmed contracts and ongoing account management. The BDM will retain permanent ownership and accountability for the relationship with the client.
The role includes the following responsibilities
Telemarketing, generating own enquiries and following up leads from the telemarketing team. Bringing existing contacts to the business and set up meetings with these. It is important to note that the BDM should be self -sufficient in terms of generating a business pipeline. The telemarketing team is there to assist but should not be relied upon.
Meeting new/existing customers to fully understand their needs.
Briefing and liaising with various internal teams
Working with the operations team to put together in depth proposals
Creating quotes for all enquiries and orders
Presenting proposals to clients and ultimately winning the contract!
Working with operations for ongoing project management
Project management on various sites (travel required)
Ongoing client satisfaction and account management
Taking responsibility for you own professional development that will help with knowledge, skills and behaviours to succeed in the role.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a strong and confident communicator and must be prepared to approach new prospects to engage them in discussion about their future needs.
Initiative is essential to this role. Although they have documented processes and guidelines within which the team operate, they expect individuals to continually look for alternative avenues for generating new business and bring their ideas to the table. This role really offers the opportunity to make it your own!
A team attitude is a key attribute. Each salesperson within the business has their own individual targets to work towards, but its important that they look to grow the business together as a team, providing support where appropriate and ensuring the success of all team members.
The successful candidate will be asked to commit to the business culture and set of behaviours that they expect all team members to adhere to in order to promote long term happiness and productivity of the team as a whole.
We are open to industry background but ultimately if you have previous sales experience and the drive, passion, determination and willingness to take a role as your own we would be very interested to hear from you.
