Purpose of the Audit Senior role:
Our client is looking for an Audit Senior who will undertake statutory audit work for a range of limited companies, taking responsibility for the files before review by the Director. You will join their friendly team as they have huge growth plans for the next year.
Main duties and responsibilities of an Audit Senior:
. Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies.
. Audit of accounts in accordance with ISAs, including attendance at client premises.
. Liaise with clients to ensure accounts comply with accounting standards.
. Draft corporation tax computations, including analysis of items for tax.
. Support the development of trainees clearly and concisely, identify and solve knowledge gaps.
. Work directly for Client Managers and Directors, supporting the delivery of technical knowledge.
. Keep up to date with legislative changes.
Experience/knowledge requirements for an Audit Senior:
. Qualified accountant with audit experience.
. Experience working in a practice environment.
. UK company audit experience.
. Experience using accountancy software and Microsoft Office.
. Desirable to have experience with either SAGE, Xero, Quickbooks, or Kashflow.
. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
. Strong communication skills.
. Confidence to build rapport and manage a professional relationship with clients.
. Highly organised, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
