Job summary
Beehive Recruitment is on the lookout for a Planner in Newcastle area. We are working with a market leader cleanroom / controlled environment design and construction company. They are the leader in Modular Cleanroom Design for the Biopharmaceutical Sector, Micro Electronics, Semiconductor, and Battery Manufacturing facilities.Key Responsibilites
* Develop project schedules that meet business needs and timelines using industry-specific scheduling software.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
* Monitor and control project progress, identifying areas of variance, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Prepare project status reports and present updates to team members and stakeholders.
* Establish and maintain project controls tools related to cost, schedule, and risk management.
* Ensure compliance with project standards, procedures, and protocols.
* Foster a positive and cohesive team environment, enhancing communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
Key relationships (the nature and extent of both internal and external interfaces). With whom does the candidate communicate, both internally and externally, to fulfil the duties and obligations of the role?
INTERNAL
* Reports directly to Construction Director & Construction Manager, interface with Project Team to include Project QS, Project Construction team. Procurement departs, Design department
EXTERNAL
* Client planning rep, Site CMT (Client side)
Competencies (Outline the technological proficiencies the candidate must have to complete the role).
* Excellent working knowledge of scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Familiarity with project controls concepts, processes, and tools.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Good understanding of the construction industry
* Experience working with a project team to deliver deadlines.
