We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2024. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with various needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will work closely with experienced teaching staff to ensure that students receive the best possible education and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide tailored support.
Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring individualised learning objectives are met.
Support students in their social and emotional development.
Help create an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment.
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Implement and adhere to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management plans.
Provide feedback and updates to teachers and parents on student progress.
