Job summary
A large leading construction consultancy is looking for a commercially-minded Building Surveyor to join their Manchester office.The Building Surveyor's role
As the successful Building Surveyor, your main responsibilities will include scoping, estimating and presenting reports, undertaking surveys, preparing a timely and effective post contract administration and final account agreement, and you will be working with Senior Surveyors, Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
The successful Building Surveyor will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the consultancy business across all sectors including commercial, retail, government and healthcare.
The successful Building Surveyor will have?
MRICS accreditation ideally
BSc/ MSc in Building Surveying or a RICS accredited degree
Effective communication, both written and verbal
Full understanding of health and safety requirements
Ability to produce reports
Ability to measure buildings in accordance with RICS Code of Practice
