The ideal candidate possesses a genuine enthusiasm for children's education, an inclusive approach, and some prior experience working with children. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and organising activities/resources.
Engage with students on a 1:1 or small group basis to provide tailored support.
Evaluate pupils in alignment with the learning objectives outlined in their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP).
Collaborate effectively with teachers, fellow Teaching Assistants, Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs), and external agencies.
Requirements:
Hold a degree in any subject.
Demonstrate some prior experience working with children.
Possess an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
