The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who is looking to develop within Rotary Watches Ltd. You will be a motivated and meticulous person who understands the intricacies of the client journey.
This new, dynamic role is a vital addition to the business. As brand guardian you will not only generate revenue via new and existing retail partners, you will also support the visual presentation of the brand in store. This is a fast-paced role that requires an individual who is not only organised, but also an excellent communicator who understands their role as a representative of Rotary Watches.
Main Duties and Responsibility
Managing a high number of customer accounts and ensuring an even spread of calls across the area as per agreed plan
To achieve the assigned sales target
Provide training to store sales staff and national accounts in products and merchandising
Open to new POS
Prepare range plans regularly and analyse sales in different territories
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new retail partners and their requirements
Arrange business meetings with existing & prospective retail partners to sell in Rotary ranges,
and help develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Weekly reporting - recording sales, revenue, invoices, and provide feedback to direct line
manager regarding in-store housekeeping and/or relevant merchandising/display issue.
Provide trustworthy feedback, after-sales support, and build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Maintain a comprehensive database of customer accounts and watch displays across designated locations
Ensure high level product training is successfully delivered to the retail staff teams
Responsible for the visual presentation of each watch display, ensuring the brand is represented correctly and is fully stocked with the correct up to date display visuals
Essential Skills and Experience
Previous experience with working for a similar consumer brand
Proven experience of managing a brands after sales journey and delivering exceptional customer service
Setting goals and developing action plans
Ability to build a brand and setting realistic expectations with clients
Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
Ability to be proactive, motivated and handle uncertainty.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team of people to deliver positive results
Work well under pressure and confident with dealing with requests coming in from multiple
Channels
Please note that it is essential to have a valid driving licence and your own vehicle for this position.
Desirable skills and Experience
Knowledge or work experience with watches and/or components.
Understanding of the premium/luxury market
