My client, one of the UK's leading energy businesses is looking for a part time Finance & Accounts Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that offers a truly flexible hybrid role to suit round busy life commitments. Hours are negotiable.THE ROLE
This is a hands on role requiring an individual to be involved in:
· Daily Reporting: Regularly preparing and analysing financial reports.
· Budgeting and Forecasting: Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes.
· Handling accounts payable, collections, and payroll
· Support payroll and relationship with external payroll provider
· Cash Flow Monitoring: Keeping an eye on cash flow within the organisation
· Liaising with Accountant Teams: Collaborating with accounting professionals.
· Processing Invoices: Reviewing and processing supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting.
· Creating Identifying Codes: Assigning unique codes to each invoice for easy tracking during tax filing.
· Supplier Management: Setting up credit accounts with new suppliers and maintaining their details in the financial
· Efficient Payment Processes: Establishing streamlined procedures for registering and making payments.
· VAT Calculations: Calculating the VAT owed on purchased items.
· Monitoring Pending Payments: Tracking impending payments to suppliers.
· Fibre invoice processing
THE PERSON
This is a job share role. You will be a team player who can demonstrate that you can meet the following criteria:
Financial and numerical skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking
Solid organizational skills
Strong knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster strong supplier relationships
Excellent IT skills especially in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of an Accounting software package
