Hunter Mason's client is looking for an experienced hands-on BMS engineer to join their growing team. Our client has been in the industry for over 25 years and now have an annual turnover of over £3,000,000. They also boast of an average employee tenure of over 5 years. This role has become available due to the previous employee leaving the country and the successful candidate will be responsible for working on a variety of projects, including commercial; education; healthcare; leisure; rail and more with an average cost of £150,000 but can vary between £10,000 - £500,000.
Responsibilities:
* Comply with and ensure your compliance with all internal Policies and Procedures (i.e. Code of Conduct, Health and Safety, ISO9001 etc.).
* Undertake engineering & commissioning where required.
* Scheduling of engineering and commissioning works by liaising with customers on a regular basis.
* Creating project specific description of operations, controls software and front-end graphics.
* Regular review of projects in line with programme requirements.
* Reporting on completed work for monthly valuations.
* Regular review and inspection of engineering works to ensure compliance with the Companys expected level of quality and all current regulations.
* Provide a point of contact between all appropriate staff teams, sub-contractors and customers to facilitate a smooth transition between installation, commissioning and successful handover of projects.
* Proactive communication to enable timely updates of all projects within your portfolio.
* Ensure that the performance of all engineering and commissioning work is effectively monitored and managed via regular update meetings and annual review.
* Responsible for all aspects of data recording and reporting from input to archiving completed projects, to provide a robust basis for project analysis and meet all internal and external audit and quality requirements.
* Develop, implement and review procedures as necessary.
* Manage support for internal and external quality assurance / audit requirements and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to address audit findings and recommendations.
* Provide advice and assistance to the engineering team including monitoring of project data so as to ensure consistency with internal systems and compliance with contractual obligations.
* Work creatively and collaboratively with colleagues to influence strategic planning and contribute to producing operational plans.
* Implement the objectives of the operational plan and other headline strategic plans.
* Undertake specific projects and assist with such other reasonable and related duties as may be required from time to time by the Engineering Manager
