We are currently seeking an experienced and talented IT Vendor Manager to join our dynamic team for a leading energy company. With key partnerships and a commitment to excellence, we are driving the digital transformation in their industry. As the IT Vendor Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the IT procurement demand, establishing strategic relationships with IT managed service providers (MSPs), and ensuring efficient contract management processes. By streamlining processes, enhancing vendor partnerships, and optimising costs, you will contribute to delivering clear value to the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and manage technology services Vendor Management Frameworks, covering various aspects such as vendor selection, contract management, and risk management.
Develop strategic partnerships with "Best Fit" vendors, focusing on outcome-based solutions.
Structure and negotiate Master Service/Framework Agreements, SOWs, and Managed Service contracts.
Drive process improvements, reducing timelines and ensuring accountability in contract renewals and changes.
Manage technology spend, including approval processes and spend analysis.
Collaborate with partners to deliver accurate and standardised management information to the business.
Cultivate strong relationships with strategic partners, continuously improving communication and data sharing.
Work with relevant teams to optimise the invoice management process and ensure prompt and accurate payments to partners.
Translate demands into contract negotiations, focusing on value for money and organisational outcomes.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience in IT partner management and procurement, particularly within the IT industry compliance regulations.
Proven track record in contract management, shifting from a role-based approach to outcome-based solutions.
Knowledge of procurement management and regulations.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present and discuss solutions at all levels.
Experience in delivering process improvement in complex and regulated environments.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.
Solutions-oriented mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
