The site you will be covering a very well known shopping centre in York.
The role:
The Site based HVAC Engineer will be joining a part of a larger team of multi skilled engineers working on static site in Chester on a Prestigious Industrial site carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on any general building maintenance, small installation projects, servicing and repairs.

Main Duties:
Conducting regular inspections of air conditioning systems to identify any issues or potential problems
Cleaning or replacing air filters to ensure proper airflow and efficiency
Inspecting and cleaning condenser coils to maintain optimal heat transfer
Checking refrigerant levels and topping up if necessary to maintain proper cooling capacity
Inspecting and tightening electrical connections to prevent electrical issues
Lubricating moving parts such as motors and fans to reduce friction and wear
Testing thermostat operation and calibrating as needed for accurate temperature control
Checking and cleaning evaporator coils to prevent frost build-up and maintain efficiency
Inspecting ductwork for leaks, damage, or obstructions and repairing as necessary
Testing system performance and making adjustments for optimal efficiency and comfort
Responding to air conditioning emergencies and outages to restore cooling quickly and safely
Keeping accurate maintenance records and documentation for regulatory compliance and future reference.
