The company
Inside Construction have been appointed to recruit a Project Manager for a growing civils contractor who provide civils projects for the residential and commercial built environment. With a growing portfolio of clients and turnover secured for 2024, they are adding to their operations team. The role
The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for project, offering expertise for the full project life cycle. It is the Project Managers responsibly to ensure projects are ran safely and delivered on time and within budget. To work closely with the client (tier 1 principal contractor) to ensure the civils/groundworks are delivered to a very high standard.
Reporting into the Operations Manager you will manage the Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager and Engineer and will be involved in pre-construction responsibilities before the project starts next month. The project is a new build commercial building, and the value of the civils package is approximately 5m. Work will involve earthworks, roads and sewers and a car park.

The Person
This opportunity would suit an experienced Project Manager or Senior Site Manager with a civils background. The business is growing rapidly and breaking into new markets and wants to attract a person who buys into their culture and can see the benefits of joining such a forward thinking, modern organisation. Its essential you have a broad understanding of civils construction and experience of running commercial build projects. Our client looks for Managers with an engineering bias who are comfortable managing self-delivered civils schemes. Its essential you have SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS. Temporary works coordinator and Street works tickets are desirable.
The package
