Primary English Teacher SEN
Salary range: £30,000 - £46,525 per year plus SEN allowance
About the role:
As English Teacher at Arc School Napton, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will plan and teach well-structured English lessons, both indoors and out, following the schools plans, curriculum and schemes of work, adapting to suit all individuals needs. Additionally, you will assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment.
About you:
Ideally, for this role, we are looking for an experienced teacher who is able to adapt their teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils.
You will be able to set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils as well as promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.
You will possess good subject and curriculum knowledge and will be comfortable to participate in arrangements for preparing pupils for external tests where necessary and appropriate. You will provide levels of care and support appropriate to the general needs of the children and those outlined in their EHCPs and individualised plans.

About us:
Arc School Napton, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist primary school in Napton, for children and young people aged between the ages of 5 and 11. We provide a safe learning environment for children and young people with educational and social needs which are associated with the challenges of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), attachment disorder (AD), autism (ASC), dyslexia and dyspraxia. Some children have social emotional and mental health needs. (SEMH).
