The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Power Systems Engineer?

Executing a broad spectrum of engineering tasks throughout the project lifecycle, from bidding to delivery.
Planning and executing engineering assignments, involving judgment in the assessment, selection, and adaptation of designs or design techniques to fulfil established requirements.
Taking responsibility for the technical performance of the product.
Collaborating closely with senior team members to strategize and organize project activities.
Coordinating technical tasks within the team and serving as the main technical contact for the customer.
Participating in project meetings and delivering comprehensive technical and progress reports.
Staying informed about the latest developments in the chosen field through seminar attendance and studying technical literature.
Contributing to business improvement initiatives and supporting other activities within the organization. What are we looking for in our next Power Systems Engineer?

Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing design and simulation tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
Expertise and hands-on experience in the realm of power electronics.
Established track record in product design and testing within a relevant professional setting.
Extensive knowledge spanning various engineering domains, including systems, mechanical, and motors.
Familiarity with best practices in the design lifecycle process, including gated design phases and design reviews.
Effective in customer interactions, with a willingness and ability to deliver presentations.
Proficient in the 'live' testing of low-voltage (i.e.,
