About The RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Sonographer to join us at Practice Plus Group Hospital Southampton
The successful post holder will ideally work within the hours of 8am to 6pm, with a minimum of 2 shifts a week but alternative working hours could be considered. Whether you are local to the area or looking to relocate we would love to hear from you, you will however need extensive UK experience.
As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will produce a high standard of ultrasonography practice. This will include undertaking a broad range of techniques while being flexible in adapting to the requirements of all patients and examination scenarios.

What you'll be doing
Our Sonographers enjoy a challenging yet balanced and steady workload with no Paediatric or Obstetric patients. The standard case mix covers the majority of MSK and general surgery scans, alongside some Gynae and Urology. DVT scans are ideal but not essential.
What well look for in you
You will be:
HCPC registered Radiographer with a diploma in medical ultrasound and experience in a broad range of ultrasonography competencies.
Able to do MSK
Have an ability to work autonomously and experience of independent reporting is essential in this role.
Be able to manage in a fast paced environment while maintaining the ability to produce high quality images and succinct and accurate reporting.
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this role - A share code will be required
