We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Spanish Teacher to join our team at a partnering Secondary School in North Shropshire.

This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and empower students in their Spanish language learning journey at GCSE level.



Job Description

Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons in line with the GCSE curriculum

Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and attainment, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.

Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment

Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department and across other subject areas

Positive communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress, academic performance, and any relevant concerns or achievements.



Requirements

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Spanish language teaching.

- Relevant degree in Spanish language, linguistics, or a related field.

- Proven experience teaching Spanish at GCSE level, preferably within a UK secondary school setting.

- Strong proficiency in the Spanish language, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for language learning and achieve their full potential.

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, in line with OFSTED requirements and school policies.

- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community through participation in extracurricular activities or events.
