Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development.
Create and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning, growth, and social interaction.
Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
Observe and assess childrens progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents about their childs development.
Collaborate with the team to create and maintain a stimulating and well-resourced learning environment.
Promote safeguarding procedures, ensuring the welfare of all children under your care.
Stay up to date with current early years practices and regulations, continuously improving your professional knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Proven experience working with children aged 0-5 years in an early years setting.
Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its implementation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for working with young children, promoting their learning and development.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to adapt to the needs of the setting.
A drivers licence is preferred but not essential.
