Are you looking to join a very successful and experienced team?
TeacherActive has an exciting opportunity for a cover supervisor to join a Secondary school on a long-term and possible permanent basis. Your role is to enrich the learning and development of KS3 & KS4 students during GCSEs. We are looking for someone who can engage students and, demonstrate effective teaching practices and excellent behaviour management skills.
You will be responsible for:
Teaching classes, including planning, recording, assessing, and meeting the social and learning needs of individual pupils
Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers Standards
The ideal Qualified Science Teacher will have:
QTS/PGCE/ Cert Ed or other relevant teaching qualifications
Have experience working with young people with differing needs and destination aims, and developing appropriate strategies to help them achieve their goals
The ability to follow the National Curriculum
Excellent communication and organisational skills with a practical approach to engaging pupils
The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils
