Job Duties:
The Head of FP&A is a pivotal role in improving financial strategy, driving profitability and implementing processes as well as improving exisitng processes. The role is leading a large team of FP&A professionals, working on a nice blend of business as usual and projects.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, presenting financial reports to them and advising them on the financial reports.
Lead the FP&A function for the group, including the reporting team, planning team and projects team
Working closely with Senior Leadership Team to develop financial strategies and budgets that align with the organisation's goals
Reviewing the creation of financial models, forecasts and analysis to provide insights into financial performance, which in turn would be reported to the Senior Leadership Team
Developing and managing the strategic planning process
Managing internal relationships with regional and country leads to establish long-term financial plans
Implementing new forecasting processes alongside different finance leaders to produce and track forecast accuracy to be measured alongside KPIs
Preparing and managing long term cashflow models on a monthly basis
Upskilling team members
Continously developing and enhancing the Finance planning system
Business partnering with 'Head of' departments
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. In addition, previous experience in a similar senior finance role is required.
Experience:
The candidate must have at least 7-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong analytical skills, excellent financial acumen, and a deep understanding of financial systems and processes are essential for this role. The candidate should have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
Working Conditions:
This role is based near Bolton, with occasional travel to other locations as required
