Job summary
Now Education are working on behalf of a Ofsted Good secondary school in Bexley who are seeking an experienced teacher of Spanish to join them from September 2023. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of students at the school, within a creative and supportive MFL department. If you have a strong knowledge of the KS3, KS4 and KS5 Spanish Curriculum and can teach KS3 French, we would love to hear from you.This secondary school is conveniently located in Bexley, making it easily accessible for both teachers and students. Spanish and MFL play a central role in the schools curriculum, and their supported MFL department provides a nurturing environment for students to explore their talents.
As a Teacher of Spanish, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the schools students. Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the KS3, KS4 and KS5 Spanish Curriculum.
* Developing and implementing schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and abilities of the students.
* Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies for improvement.
* Collaborating with other members of the MFL department to develop and enhance the Spanish curriculum and resources.
* Building positive relationships with students, parents, teachers and other school leaders whilst maintaining effective communication channels.
To be considered for this Spanish Teacher role, you should meet the following requirements:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in one of the core Language subjects.
* Proven experience teaching Spanish at KS3, KS4 and KS5, with a track record of achieving excellent results.
* Experience Teaching French at KS3
* Strong subject knowledge
* Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables all students to thrive.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
