Job Description
Strategy
Development of the business development strategy
Actively participate in the Companys growth strategy.
Identify new clients and business opportunities using and pursue leads as appropriate. Market Awareness
Have a knowledge of the environment that surrounds our business, in particular the trade and business press
Input and maintain Tracker of project leads
Review Published leads
Glenigan with tailored alerts and searches for infrastructure, energy and major housing developments
Client Relationships
Meet with existing clients on a regular basis to maintain working relationships.
Framework meetings
Actively support our relationships with Crown Commercial Services, Pagabo, Procure Partnerships, Rise, CCS and Councils
Undertake and analyse the Customer Satisfaction Survey process including implementing changes and improvements as required. Undertake Customer Care meeting with Clients or their representatives at the appropriate time. In addition to their function within our Quality Management System they are good source of reference for our projects, quotes etc. Share positive feedback with the site teams.
Pre-Construction
Assist in the preparation of responses to pre-qualification questionnaires and quality elements of tender submissions. Marketing and PR
Prepare, lead or assist with presentations to clients and prospective clients.
Ensure company presentations are of a high quality.
Proactively input into the Group Internet (website and social media), Intranet and marketing literature to ensure standards and content is up to date and appropriate.
Attendance at and contribute to internal Business Development meetings Events
Attend identified event as part of the BD strategy
Organise and lead on EWCE corporate hospitality events. Awards
Look for opportunities to submit. Work with clients and consultants, Group Marketing and PR agency. CECA awards are starting point but opportunities with ICE, IHT, IStruct E, Water industry, Civic Trust, Ground Engineering, etc. depending upon the nature of the project.
