About the Role:
Ross Dene is a residential service located in Outwood and here we support adults with a wide range of learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. As a super hero Support Worker you will support with all aspects of every day living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities.
Whilst no two days are the same typically, youll help the people we support with everyday challenges such as encouraging and prompting personal cares, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are meaningful to the people we support.
We have full and part time day positions with shifts including earlies, 7:30-2:30pm and lates 2:30pm-9:30pm. You would be required to work a mix of earlies and lates and this would involve weekend working.
Experience with learning disabilities and/or autism is required for this position due to the needs of the people we support. We are also seeking individuals with a Full UK driving license who would be willing to drive the company vehicle.
